I knew Harry Browne long before he recieved his second 15 minutes of fame as the twice nominated presidential candidate of the Libertarian Party. His first fame came in the seventies, when as an investment writer, financial analyst and market commentator he had the Midas touch.
Glad to say that his classic books are being republished in downloadable form at bargain prices:
Harry Browne was the first and only Presidential candidate in cycle 2000 that I recall who'd stood up definitively proclaiming, for the record, that there would be no Y2K Crisis.
BTW - Snatching up a few of his publications is personal prevention for the next dotbomb on the horizon ...
