Marlene smoked on film often, so I imagine Wally would rate her as a smokin' babe. However, I focus on music and video here.
She starred in one of my favorite old films. I'm not thinking of The Blue Angel but Golden Earrings (I guess my fascination with gypsies shows up again). I don't remember any singing in that movie, so we'll go with perhaps her most famous song.
Happy Birthday Marlene, where ever you are !

Posted by Bob Wallace, who always kinda liked Linda Ronstadt's singing, but I have no idea what happened here, obviously she's been overdosing on the Twinkles or maybe even something a lot worse, but I really do hope she sees someone about this because if she walked by me on the street I wouldn't recognize the poor thing, and I really do think I'm going to have some bad dreams for a while.

This is another photo of the Bride of the Monster in the post below. Only this time he's dressed as a ballerina!
To my horror, I find her...him?...it?...they? rather attractive! Ohmigod, I'm sick!! I need help!! Only I don't know where to get it!!

I used to get a lot of hatemail. Several years ago, I got two or three from a woman with a rather pleasant-sounding, melodious name.
Wondering why a woman with such a name was writing very weird, almost irrational hatemail, I Googled the name, and ha ha! it wasn't a woman! It was some whackjob transsexual!
I had forgotten all about this loon until a few days ago I got another hatemail. So I decided to post of picture of this...thing.
This is a picture of him/it/her/they without the face showing. Nice dress, though.
The face is extremely creepy and you're better off not seeing it.

Sean Young is weird as hell and gives me the willies nowadays. But I still remember how smokin' hot she was in Blade Runner 25 years ago (at left). And who can forget her back-seat-of-the-limo love scene with Kevin Costner in 1987's No Way Out? Two cheers for Sean!

When my nephews were little they had this little white dog, so I took a Magic Marker and drew a circle around one eye.
I had to keep refreshing it, and told my nephews it had just magically appeared one night. Of course, they believed me. Would Uncle Bob lie?!?!
I could never get the dog to balance a ball on his nose, though.

Frankenstein is an unincorporated community in northwestern Osage County, Missouri, USA.
It is located about 20 km (12 miles) east of Jefferson City. It was named for a settler. The community is believed named not for the monster, but for Gottfried Franken, who donated land to build a church here in 1890.
The population only consists of thirty people.
