Tightwad, Missouri

Not only is there a Frankenstein and Festus Missouri, there is also a Tightwad Missouri, which is sort of in the Ozarks. It only has about 70 people, but customers from all over the country use the bank so they'll have checks that say "Tightwad" on them.

Missouri is an underrated state. It has more caves and wineries than any other state, the Ozarks, lakes, rivers, streams, hiking trails, camping, float trips, horses, swimming, hunting, and all kinds of goodies.

"Sensory Deprived Child Area"

While traveling through a suburb yesterday, I saw a sign that read, "Sensory Deprived Child Area." This is way too much PC.

I know the sign meant the kid was blind or deaf, but the first thing I thought was, "The kid has no sense? What, he's stupid?"

Of course I started thinking about signs that read "Dumbass kid area, please drive slow." How about, "Stupid kid area, drive as fast as you want, I don't want him either."

In jr. high the sign would have read, "Retardo/rejecto kid lives here, squish him good, no one likes him."
