Breathtakingly incredible. What can three Americans do to the band, which almost swings. Do not like a mix and the sound engineer. Ray is not Ray - needs more presence,
Jeff is also rather weak and band mix sucks. Need more presence for all sections, which are hard to hear appart and blend together too much. Benny is BEST!
Otherwise, thanks Tom.

I don't really have any in depth info. Jazz on the tube has a big library of you tube videos that they send out over email. You can subsrcibe and become part of the community. Sounds like you know your stuff when it comes to jazz.

Thanks Tom for answering and I understand. I might help supplying more intel. Conductor is Jiggs Whigham who lives in Berlin. He is a trombone player.
Tell me if I can do anything to help - played jazz with everybody on the Strip and before in Europe with best band in Czechoslovakia. All my life in studio, concerts
and "on the road". Also have close to 100 originals released.
Just had my new CD released. Interested? One of my gigs was 6000 Danke Schoens not jazz, but got me to play Frank Sinatra and Basie.
Have some videos from Tokyo with Earl"Fatha" Hines I was his musical director on State Dept tour and more.
And knowing my stuff? Jazz was and still is MY LIFE! And if I send you a list who I did played with - starting with Dizzy, you might let me help you "pro bono".

Forgot to say, that the band is RIAS BERLIN, where the recording was made. Have to ask Jeff what year. Ray died in 2002.
