Armed & Dangerous Babe :: Lena Headey

Lena21 She was terrific in 300, but she absolutely ROCKS on the Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles TV series.

Posted by Wally Conger, who can almost forget Linda Hamilton when he watches Headey's Sarah -- but not quite.

Smokin' Babe :: Sean Young

Seanyoung Sean Young is weird as hell and gives me the willies nowadays. But I still remember how smokin' hot she was in Blade Runner 25 years ago (at left). And who can forget her back-seat-of-the-limo love scene with Kevin Costner in 1987's No Way Out? Two cheers for Sean!

Armed & Dangerous Babe :: Jodie Foster

Braveonebrd I haven't seen Jodie Foster's recent movie The Brave One yet, but I sure will when it comes to DVD in February. I've always found Ms. Foster very hot, and never more so than in this art that will grace the DVD packaging. There's nuttin' like a gun-toting dame, friends.

Posted by Wally Conger, who seldom thinks of Jodie Foster as "that little neighbor girl" from the old Courtship of Eddie's Father TV series of 1969 or so.

Smokin' Babe :: Melissa George

Melissageorge Melissa George now stars in the horror movie 30 Days of Night, based on the graphic novel series. I think she's smokin' in more ways than one.

Smokin' Babe :: Monica Bellucci

Belucci I first noticed actress Monica Bellucci in the movie Matrix Revolutions about four years ago and instantly became a big fan. A little research online told me that Monica generally starred in Italian films, but I started to see her in things like Terry Gilliam's The Brothers Grimm and, amazingly enough, Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ, where she played Mary Magdalen. Most recently (like, in the past month), she starred opposite Clive Owen in the wonderful Shoot 'Em Up, which bombed at the box office but which will find a home at Casa Conger as soon as it goes DVD.

Anyway, say hi, everyone, to Monica, our lastest Smokin' Babe here at TSC!

Monica2 Posted by Wally Conger, he likes Italian women, especially smokin' ones.

Smokin' Babe :: Jaime Pressly

Jamie68 Jaime's the Emmy-winning knock-out ex-wife from NBC's My Name is Earl series. She apparently likes to smoke in the tub.

Posted by Wally Conger, whose favorite Pressly is Jaime, not Elvis. (Yeah, I know, I know -- the names are spelled differently, but I needed a clever tag.)

Smokin' Babe :: Shannon Doherty

Shannon I know this isn't going to be a big shock to anyone, but Shannon Doherty, TV's beautiful mix of good girl and bad girl, smokes. This gal has LEFT more television series under negative circumstances than most performers have starred in, and always as the result of her "bad behavior." Oh well... She sure looks good.

Posted by Wally Conger, who likes those bad girls, even if they scare the heck out of him.

Joey Heatherton for Serta mattresses

Smokin' Babe :: Emily Scott

Emilyscott I don't keep up with fashion, but I understand that Emily Scott is the Number One commercial model from Australia. She's not particularly my type, but quite appealing nonetheless, and I give her a bunch of extra points for the ceegar.

Smokin' Babe :: Jennifer Lopez

Jenniferlopez1 After a difficult day on the set, even semi-washed-up Hollywood starlet Jennifer Lopez likes to relax with a smoke.

Remember Joey Heatherton?

Joey2 Boy, I sure do! Back in the late 1960s and early '70s, when I was in high school, Joey Heatherton was everywhere! She'd show up on the Dean Martin TV show, every talk show on the planet, and even on Bob Hope tours for the troops in Vietnam. She did Serta mattress commercials and, as I recall, commercials for RC Cola. I remember she even starred in one of those "Happy Hooker" movies they made 30 years or so ago. And Joey was always hot, hot, hot. Heck, a few of us used to talk about her in gym alla the time.

Anyway, while browsing the internet this afternoon, I came across a "whatever happened to?" about Joey and started following links. It seems nobody really knows what she's been up to for the past umpteen years. She had cocaine problems, of course, as all celebrities did in the '70s and '80s. She had a bad marriage or three -- including one to a football star -- nothing new for Hollywood. But now 63 years old, Joey's dropped off the radar.

Joey_censored

I have found some interesting shots of Joey, though, including the extremely sexy cover shot from her 1972 LP (never even knew she recorded one) and another one I'd guess comes from the past few years.

But, hey, if you're out there, Joey, and you happen to be a reader of The Sudden Curve, drop us a line and let us know how you're doing, wouldja? We'd love to hear from you!Joeynow

Supergirl: A disappointing debut

Vandervoort21 So my wife and I were both curious enough about the TV debut of Supergirl on Smallville this past week to tune in the season opener. We haven't watched the show in a few years. I'm not sure what Deb's real reasons were for watching on Thursday; mine are pretty damn obvious. Anyway, what we got instead of a full-on debut of Laura Vandervoort were a few mere glimpses. They were disappointing. Heck, Supergirl never even spoke, and the longest moment with her was maybe 20 seconds of her sitting on a mountaintoip or something, looking pensive.

Judging by the previews for this coming week's episode, it looks like we'll get our real Supergirl debut on October 4. My fingers are crossed.

Just Plain Dangerous Babe Celine Dion

Celine I haven’t been a Celine Dion fan — until now. Here’s the cover of her new CD. I haven’t heard it yet, and I doubt I ever will. But I am thrilled with Celine’s new “look” on the CD jacket. She looks like she wants to, uh, hurt me. If only she’d played the White Witch in Disney’s Narnia movie a couple of years ago, that film would have been perfect.

The gals of "Halloween"

Pj Rob Zombie's unnecessary remake of John Carpenter's 1970s horror classic Halloween opens today, and just thinking about the original, I started to dream again about P.J. Soles. P.J. sits on the left in this photo. She played hot babysitter Lynda, who doesn't survive the film. P.J.'s not even the lead -- that honor goes to the gal on the right, Jamie Lee Curtis, who grew hotter several years later. But P.J. is who I remember most from Halloween. She was my dream babysitter...more interested in making whoopie with her boyfriend than watching the kids. I had fantasies about P.J. for years, most of them involving her telling me how naughty I was.

Posted by Wally Conger, who can't even remember the name of the third girl in this photo.
