It was "All in the Family." The creator, Norman Lear, of the anti-American People for the American Way, portrayed the typical American family as uneducated, bigoted, and blue-collar. I was raised in that kind of environment and in many ways it was more Norman Rockwell than Norman Lear -- Christmas and Halloween and Easter and the rest of that middle-class American stuff. Lear should have taken at stab his leftist, anti-American Hollywood environment, and not at things he knew nothing about.
