Melanie's biggest hit was the soulful "Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)." I haven't heard it on the radio for years, which I why I hardly listen to radio anymore.
Posted by Bob Wallace, who always thought she was a cutie, even when I was too young to understand what she meant by rollerskates and keys.
Hey Bob,
I only listen to FCC controlled radio when I'm in my car and I don't have a CD ready.
However, I've been Streaming RTN Radio ("Classic Rock - commercial free, listener supported, uncensored"; Rolling Stone's "Brown Sugar" playing at the moment, but usually the stuff feels a little less Top 40 than that) and Gray Ponytail (Just like the name sounds; No, I don't wear a ponytail and my hair ain't completely gray yet) on my Kubuntu machine with Amarok.
As I move things over and convert stuff out of the land of the M$FT hegemon it (Amarok on KDE) entertains me.
Kubuntu land seems very nice to me. I won't willingly run Vista.
I liked that video of Melanie. Thanks.
