We'll have to do a lot more to showcase PJF's work in the upcoming months. I've been a fan of his as long as I can remember. Seems like just yesterday I read for the first time Venus on the Half Shell and Riverworld and Tarzan Alive and ..... aww, just damn!

He must have been in his 90s.
I lived in Peoria for a while and one day I saw some guy in a huge black Buick trying to edge out if front of mne. When I looked at the driver, it was Farmer.

I just lapped up the River World series, it was like being transported into a whole new and very real realm. I read that nearly thirty years ago now and I still always expect it to rain at 6pm. A great writer and visionary, I mourn his passing.
